Love Is The King, a “beautifully honest ode to love and hope,” is the follow-up to 2018’s Warm and 2019’s Warmer, and comes on the heels of Tweedy’s second book, How To Write One Song. “At the beginning of the lockdown I started writing country songs to console myself. Folk and country type forms being the shapes that come most easily to me in a comforting way. ‘Guess Again’ is a good example of the success I was having at pushing the world away, counting my blessings – taking stock in my good fortune to have love in my life,” comments Tweedy. “A few weeks later things began to sound like ‘Love Is The King’ – a little more frayed around the edges with a lot more fear creeping in. Still hopeful but definitely discovering the limits of my own ability to self soothe.” -Jeff Tweedy

Two Saviors is Buck Meek’s second album, following 2018’s self-titled LP also released on Keeled Scales and currently on it’s third pressing. The Big Thief lead guitarist worked with producer and engineer Andrew Sarlo on this album (who’s produced all four of Big Thief albums, as well as co-producing Bon Iver’s i, i). Andrew agreed to record it only if it was made under his conditions- that they make the album in New Orleans during the hottest part of the year, spend no more than seven days tracking live, on an 8-track tape machine, with only dynamic microphones and no headphones, and not allowing the players to hear back any of the takes until the final day.
Limited red colored 180gm vinyl LP pressing. In 1972, Jefferson Airplane took a break after releasing the band’s seventh studio album, Long John Silver. In 1973 Grace Slick and Paul Kantner formed Jefferson Starship with fellow Airplane alumni Freiberg, Papa John Creach, and John Barbata, as well as guitarist Craig Chaquico and Pete Sears on bass and keyboards. Airplane founding member Marty Balin also joined the band in 1975. Jefferson Starship released eight albums between 1974 and 1984. Each of them was certified gold or better and helped the band assemble a steady streak of classic hit singles such as “Count On Me,’ “Jane,” “Find Your Way Back, and “Miracles” from their 1975 double platinum No. 1 album Red Octopus.
Fogerty’s Factory is a newly recorded album of stripped back tracks from legendary singer, songwriter and guitarist John Fogerty. None of these included tracks have been available physically before. The first track, “Centerfield,” was recorded on the Field at Dodger Stadium to celebrate John’s 75th Birthday on May 28th. The cover image is an updated version of the icon Creedence Clearwater Revival cover for Cosmo’s Factory taken by the same photographer, Bob Fogerty. “Our family got together and decided we would spread some joy with music in these trying times,” shares John. “We recreated Cosmos Factory and it became Fogerty’s Factory… my sons, daughter Kelsy, Julie and we even got Bob Fogerty to shoot the cover photo, a total family affair!”

The album was released in February 2005, and became the band’s second consecutive album to top the UK Albums Chart at number 1. Some Cities was conceived as a rawer, stripped-down record, and conceptually touches upon the physical changes of the band’s hometown of Manchester, as well as emotional transformations. The album features the band’s second-highest charting single, “Black and White Town”, which peaked at number 6 on the UK Singles Chart. Lost Souls was met with positive critical acclaim, and was a shortlist nominee for the Mercury Prize in 2000. The album was roundly praised on it’s release for it’s blending of claustrophobic intensity and euphoria, the sonic influences from electronic music present in it’s textures and for being “the perfect after-hours soundtrack.”
Plenty Wrong to Go Awry is the fifth full-length album by Austin-based avant-garde blues band Churchwood. Even though the album was recorded in the summer of 2019 and mixed in the spring of 2020, it thematically addresses the current dystopian times we live in through a poetic and sometimes historical lens on Ain’t Your Choir and Steal It Back but still manages to have some fun on more traditional roots roadhouse tunes Tantamount and Fixin’ to Crawl. It possesses the dense, challenging music and dizzying guitar interplay that fans have come to expect from the band and will appeal to fans of Nick Cave, Leonard Cohen, Captain Beefheart and Tom Waits who like their poetry with some twisted roots and garage infused oomph.

For his album Songs For The Drunk and Broken Hearted, Rosenberg explains, “I chose the album title because a lot of the songs are about drinking and the emotions felt around it” he explains. There are personal references Rosenberg adds, “I’ve recently gone through a break-up, which is always a rough time but can actually be very inspiring too. I spent a few months going out and drinking too much which was fun and heartbreaking and awful all at once. Some of the material is personal and some of it is about other people, either people I’ve met or fictional characters. That’s always been a Passenger thing: sad stories about people drenched in disappointment with that sense of what could have been.” VINYL LP
