Vinyl Cut by Jason Mitchell at Loud Mastering Under The Guidance Of John Parish!

Originally released two years after Peel’s death in 2004, the record came with a tribute message from Harvey in the liner notes which read, “More than I would ever care to admit for fear of embarrassment to both sides, but I sought his approval always. It mattered. Every Peel Session I did, I did for him. It is with much love that I chose these songs, in his memory. A way of saying ‘Thank You,’ once more. Thank You, John.”
Reissue is faithful to the original recording and package, with cutting by Jason Mitchell at Loud Mastering under the guidance of longtime PJ Harvey producer John Parish.

Green Day … Nimrod … Vinyl LP pressing. Nimrod (stylized as nimrod.) is the fifth studio album by rock band Green Day, originally released on October 14, 1997. The band began work on the album in the wake of the cancellation of a European tour after the release of their previous album, Insomniac. Recorded at Conway Recording Studios in Los Angeles, the album was written with the intent of creating a set of standalone songs as opposed to a cohesive album. Retrospectively, Nimrod is noted for it’s musical diversity and experimentation, containing elements of folk, surf rock, and ska. Lyrical themes discussed include maturity, personal reflection, and fatherhood.
King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard … Vinyl LP pressing. 2021 release. Serving as both a standalone work and a companion piece to 2020 predecessor K.G., L.W. sees the Melbourne-based innovators produce a truly original album. As the band enter their second decade, the creative future of this most 21st century of outfits only promises to be bolder, madder and more imaginative than ever.
Del Amitri … Fatal Mistakes … Vinyl LP pressing. Throughout their entire career, Del Amitri have mastered the art of timeless, melodically focused pop rock. Frontman Justin Currie comments on their seventh album: “Recorded over three weeks in March in a country house in deep England, ‘Fatal Mistakes’ is the Dels’ first studio album since’ Can You Do Me Good ‘. Everyone had a good time. It’s a bizarre collection of stories powered by guitars, drums and keyboards played entirely by the quintet we toured great tours with in 2014 and 2018. ‘Close Your Eyes and Think of England’ is our European farewell, a ballad of pure bile and remorse, sweetened with a sledge hammer of sarcasm.”
Czarface & MF Doom … Super What?
David Bowie … The Man Who Sold The World … Limited vinyl picture disc pressing of The Man Who Sold The World album featuring the striking black and white imagery of the 1972 reissue. – Even though it contained no hits, The Man Who Sold the World, for most intents and purposes, was the beginning of David Bowie’s classic period. Working with guitarist Mick Ronson and producer Tony Visconti for the second time Bowie developed a tight, twisted heavy guitar rock that appears simple on the surface but sounds more gnarled upon each listen. The mix is off-center, with the fuzz-bass dominating the compressed, razor-thin guitars and Bowie’s strangled, affected voice.
Beachy Head … Beachy Head … Debut full length of this shoegaze “supergroup” featuring Christian and Rachel from Slowdive, Matt from The Flaming Lips, Steve from The Soft Cavalry and Ryan Graveface from The Casket Girls/Dreamend. FFO Slowdive, Mojave 3, Monster Movie etc
Moby … Reprise … Moby’s eclectic career has cast him in the roles of electronic dance music pioneer, singer/songwriter, producer, activist, and restaurateur, but for his latest venture he presents his music in a whole new light. Together with Deutsche Grammophon, he is releasing an album of his best-known tracks in stunning new arrangements for classical instruments – featuring Moby himself and a stellar lineup of collaborators from across the musical spectrum. Always a daring and imaginative thinker, Moby’s first classical collaboration happened in October 2018, when he performed a selection of his songs alongside the LA Phil with conductor and friend, Gustavo Dudamel. This was the inspiration for the current project, which features not only full orchestral versions but new electronic arrangements, as well as sophisticated smaller-scale acoustic interpretations. The 14-track album includes Moby classics like “Porcelain,” “Why Does My Heart Feel So Bad?” and “Extreme Ways” in innovative new versions. Featuring eye-catching collaborations including Jim James (My Morning Jacket) on “Porcelain”; Gregory Porter and Amythyst Kiah on “Natural Blues”; and Kris Kristofferson with original vocalist Mark Lanegan on “The Lonely Night”. The album also features a cover of David Bowie’s “Heroes.”
Buddy Guy … Feels Like Rain … Music On Vinyl Pressing! … Limited 180gm vinyl LP pressing. American blues guitarist Buddy Guy released his eighth studio album Feels Like Rain in 1993. He also collaborated with some renowned musicians: John Mayall, Bonnie Raitt, Paul Rodgers and Travis Tritt can all be heard on this album.
Jimmy Page … Tribute to Alexis Korner Vol. 1 … This special release is a tribute to influential British blues founding father Alexis Korner recorded live in June of 1984 at The Club Palais Ballroom in Nottingham, England just after his passing from lung cancer earlier that same year. Raising money for cancer research, Led Zeppelin’s Jimmy Page leads a supergroup of famous friends that includes Jack Bruce, Paul Jones, Charlie Watts, Ian Stewart and Ruby Turner in a charming blues and R&B based set divided into a pair of double vinyl LP volumes.
Various Artists Tribute … Colored vinyl LP pressing. Pink Floyd’s 1975 multi-platinum masterpiece, Wish You Were Here, is brought to life once again with an all-star line-up of rock/metal royalty performing the album in it’s entirety! Includes performances by keyboard wizard Rick Wakeman, Deep Purple’s Ian Paice, Rock Hall nominee Todd Rundgren, ex-Queensrÿche vocalist Geoff Tate, guitar god Joe Satriani, Dream Theater vocalist James LaBrie, spacebass super genius Bootsy Collins, The Damned’s Rat Scabies, PiL’s Jah Wobble and lots more!
Brian Setzer … Limited 180gm red colored vinyl LP pressing. Produced by Brian Setzer and Dave Darling, Rockabilly Riot! Volume One: A Tribute To Sun Records was initially released in 2005 and focused on the legendary Memphis, Tennessee label which produced some of the greatest and most iconic music of the 1950s. The 23-track album is a-rockin’ non-stop ride that will thrill both Setzer and rock ‘n’ roll fans alike; it’s a reminder of some of the greatest music of the era and highlights Setzer’s exceptional ability to put his own stamp on these classics. The album focuses on songs produced and recorded between 1954 and 1957 and pays homage to some of the biggest names of the era including Carl Perkins, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Elvis Presley, as well as shining a light on the likes of Kenny Parchman (“Tennessee Zip,” “Get It Off Your Mind”), Carl Mann (“Mona Lisa”) and Ray Harris (“Lonely Wolf”). For Tommy Blake’s “Flatfoot Sam,” Setzer called in The Jordanaires on backing vocals, who also appear on covers of Ernie Barton (“Stairway to Nowhere,”) and Charlie Rich (“Lonely Weekends”). Setzer also brought in Jumpin’ Gene Simmons to help finish off “Peroxide Blonde In A Hopped-Up Model Ford.”
Donald Fagen … Soon after parting ways with Walter Becker, Fagen made his first post-Steely Dan album: 1982’s “The Nightfly.” One listen confirmed that this nostalgic, sumptuous slice of jazz-pop was one of the finest recordings he’d ever made, right up there with any Steely Dan release. The LP soared to #11 then and returns to vinyl now (180-gram, no less): the infectiously effervescent hit “I.G.Y. (What a Beautiful World)” plus “New Frontier,” “Green Flower Street,” “Ruby Baby,” “The Goodbye Look,” the title track and more! Rhino/Warner Bros. Limited 180gm vinyl LP pressing.
Fountains of Wayne …Double red colored vinyl LP pressing housed inside a gatefold jacket with two printed inner sleeves featuring lyrics. Includes bonus track. It’s the most popular album by one of the greatest power pop bands of all time… and it’s never seen a widespread vinyl release. Welcome Interstate Managers was hailed a classic from the day it came out in 2003, and featured Fountains of Wayne’s biggest hit with “Stacy’s Mom.” The song craft and lyrical wit of Chris Collingwood and the late, great Adam Schlesinger have never been sharper; there’s not a bad song on this record and lot of them (e.g. “Bright Future in Sales;” “Hackensack”) rise to the same lofty perch as “Stacy’s Mom.”. Also included as a bonus track: the non-LP b-side to the ‘Stacy’s Mom’ single, ‘Elevator Up!’ One of the 21st century’s greatest rock albums.
Magnum … Limited 180gm vinyl LP pressing. Magnum II is the eponymous second studio album by British rock band Magnum, originally released in 1979. Magnum II followed on from the success of Magnum’s debut album, Kingdom of Madness. The album was produced by former Ten Years After bass player Leo Lyons, who had success with producing Phenomenon, Force It and No Heavy Petting for UFO. As with their debut album Kingdom of Madness, much of the material on Magnum II was already written and had already been previewed in Magnum’s live set and were suitably “road tested”.
Electric Looking Glass … Vinyl LP pressing. Electric Looking Glass are a modern day baroque pop group from Los Angeles, CA. Electric Looking Glass unabashedly creates sugar-coated whimsical pop with all the bells and whistles; chiming guitars, dreamy mellotron, bouncy harpsichord and three part harmonies. You might mistake them at first for an obscure Apple Records signing but Electric Looking Glass insists they are forward thinking tomorrow-people making music for NOW! Boasting multiple vocalists, multi-instrumentalists and songwriters, ELG is a collaborative effort between four kindred spirits; Arash Mafi, Brent Randall, Johnny Toomey and Danny Winebarger. Self-producing in their own analog wonderland, the lads pay loving homage to the kaleidoscope pop of yesteryear with impressive attention to detail in both their records and smile-inducing Monkees-esque music videos.
Magnum … Limited 180gm vinyl LP pressing in gatefold jacket. Kingdom of Madness is the debut studio album by the English rock band Magnum. It was recorded in 1976, and was released in 1978 by Jet Records. Kingdom of Madness was awarded a 4 star review in Sounds, with writer Geoff Barton suggesting the band were capable of making a strong claim for a slice of the market occupied by the likes of Styx, Kansas and Yes.
Nat Turner Rebellion … the Philadelphia soul-music group release their long-awaited debut album, originally signed to local label Philly Groove Records, the group is made up of Joe Jefferson (who sadly passed away in July 2020), Major Harris, Ron Harper, and Bill Spratley – pioneers of the Philly Soul and protest music movements. For their debut track, ‘Tribute To A Slave’, NTR channeled the revolutionary spirit of the infamous 1831 uprising, after which the group derived their name. Starting in 1969, NTR wrote and recorded dozens of tracks with only a handful of singles released. Tensions with then-Philly Groove Records label head Stan Watson sidelined the project and the tapes went unheard for decades. Then, in 2012 when Reservoir Media acquired Philly Groove Records, they discovered the tapes in Sigma Sound Studios archive. Jefferson, lone-surviving NTR member, gave his blessing for the 14-track collection, Laugh To Keep From Crying, which made it’s only US debut last year with a limited vinyl-only run via Vinyl Me Please. The themes they wrote about are still as relevant today as they were in 1969. Chrysalis Records are now proud to partner with Reservoir Media to do a full Worldwide release of the album, with a bonus track, new artwork and sleeve notes. There will also be a debut CD of the album. The vinyl has been newly mastered and cut by Alchemy in London. The packaging is a standard 3″ spine sleeve with a 12″ insert and the vinyl housed in a poly-lined sleeve.
AmericaMusic On Vinyl Limited 180gm audiophile vinyl LP pressing in trifold jacket. Just when America received a Grammy Award for Best New Artist in 1973, they released their second album Homecoming to great critical and popular acclaim. The single ‘Ventura Highway’ preceded the album and hit a Top Ten status. The album followed suit and stormed the Billboard Top Ten. Polishing their sound, they built further on the Folk Pop formula they invented on their debut ‘America’ a year earlier. Dewey Bunnell, Dan Peek and Gerry Beckley delivered a compelling and top quality set of songs, by many regarded as their best work.
